Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) is an intermediate-level certification in the Cisco certified professional program. This certification is aimed at full-time network or system administrators, or those who work with local and/or wide-area network (LAN/WAN)infrastructure.

Prerequisite for this course is a valid Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching certification or any Cisco CCIE certification. When you are ready to take the test, you can register and attend the exams at accredited test centers. You must pass three exams in order to gain the CCNP certification viz. Implementing Cisco IP Routing (ROUTE), Implementing Cisco IP Switched Networks (SWITCH), and Troubleshooting and Maintaining Cisco IP Networks (TSHOOT)
